- Some people say level instead of mode for charging cables, level 2 means mode 2 which means a portable charger
- There are no type 2 plugs in america, only type 1 or NACS plugs
- Can't extend a cable can't extend a cable, as the International Electrotechnical Commission standard is clear on the matter; “A cord extension set or second cable assembly shall not be used in addition to the cable assembly for the connection of the EV to EVSE.”. So any EV extension cable will sit outside of the standards and may effect your vehicle. (Image attached for reference)
