The Tesla TWC does not have any replacement cables that are a direct swop. Someone with experience with electrical circuits can however get our cables to work.

The four small wires. One isn't actually used, it's connected to the PP, but not actually connected within the TWC, so that can be ignored. One is a standard Control Pilot wire, so that can just be hooked up to the new cable CP. One is the 3.3 VDC power supply for the Tesla button transmitter, and can be ignored. The fourth wire is for the Tesla connector, it contains a thermistor for temperature sensing that connects between this conductor and PE. Just fitting a 10k resistor between this terminal and PE fools the TWC into thinking the thermistor is connecting and reading a safe temperature.

The thin conductors vary in colour and termination method between different versions of the TWC. The version that has the 4 way screw terminals at the bottom has a purple Control Pilot at the left, the blue +3.3 VDC remote transmitter power supply next to it, the black thermistor wire next to that (needs to be connected to PE via a 10k resistor) and the orange PP wire (not used) at the right. The version that has the Molex connector for these four wires uses different wire colours, the purple is still the Control Pilot, the blue is still the +3.3 VDC supply, the thermistor wire is white and the unused PP wire is orange.
